Visited this stadium twice to watch the World Club Championship in 2005 and 2007. Both times I met up with Phil from Soccerphile and he was kind enough to introduce me to the local hostelries and food before and after the game. This possibly has an influence on my decision to include this stadium.
I remember the walk from the town passing a futuristic bridge and seeing the stadium with it’s mushroom like shape. Inside the three tiers are all quiet steep so that spectators are not too far from the ground and the retractable roof looks to move like a bread bin!
